ABOUT GREEN FIELD MARQUEES

At Green Field Marquees, we’re pleased to provide marquees for all manner of events, nationwide.
From weddings to festivals, black tie balls to large scale corporate functions, our team of experts bring their comprehensive experience and highly specialised understanding to all of our marquee builds.
Our end-to-end service includes a site visit, set-up, maintenance during the event and take-down once it’s all over.
With our head office in Edinburgh and our operations base in the picturesque Scottish Borders, we can bring the venue to you, wherever you are in the UK.

Miles Craig | Director

Having worked the marquee industry in his native Ireland, Miles decided to return to Scotland, where he had been educated, and started up Green Field Marquees in 2004. For the last 20 years, he has lived and breathed marquees, with a focus on growing the business.

Miles lives with his young family in Edinburgh. As a passionate ex-sportsman, he spends plenty of time on the school sports field, cheering on his children. He also takes huge pride in handling enquiries, managing events and getting to know our clients along the way.

Murdo Anderson | Director

Born and brought up in the Scottish Borders, Murdo worked for the company while studying Psychology at university in Edinburgh. In 2016, he became one of our directors and has loved developing our operations side into an efficient, well-oiled machine.

Murdo greatly enjoys field sports, running and rugby; he was even the captain of Peebles Rugby Club for the 2023-2024 season. Away from marquees and the rugby field, he is a family man and can be found spending quality time with his family.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT
Putting the 'Green' in Green Field

We keep a keen eye on reducing our carbon footprint. It’s been a fundamental part of our business planning and development over the past few years – and it continues to be a central component.

Our travel and fleet

We coordinate our movements to reduce travel time and limit how many vehicles we use too, in order to have as many seats occupied by bottoms as possible. We continually upgrade our fleet of vehicles to the newest, cleanest engines, which not only assists the environment, but it helps us meet LEZ standards in cities, improving the air quality across the nation.

Our recycling efforts

Simply speaking, we recycle any leftover materials from custom-built installations and our office and warehouse recycle as much of our everyday uses as possible, including all office paper, cardboard, pallets and delivery materials..

Our additional eco activities

In 2023, Our team went even further and planted 1,400 native species of sapling trees. Working in an alternative environment gave our team the chance to go into nature and get green fingers, which also helps tremendously with team-building and mental health. We aim to do this annually, creating more forests to store carbon for future generations.
