Our Work
From our first meeting, the team at Green Field were fantastic to work with. They were informative and happy to help with any of our growing requests.
When the build began, the Green Field crew were amazing, I've not seen a marquee go up so quick, the quality of the marquees and their finishes was exceptional.

The Strategy:

Our team needed to consider a range of variables at all stages of the process, from deciding on the size, number and layout of the marquees to considering factors around the equipment, staff and vehicle requirements when it came to building the tents.

  1. Once onboarded, the team at Green Field Marquees conducted three site visits and met with the client to ensure the site was suitable as well as making sure the client was happy with the timelines and event details.
  2. The team identified that site access and space was limited as the tents would be built on a flat space cut out of a steep hill, which was just big enough for the requirements. There were also a handful of partnering suppliers that were relying on the marquees being built to begin their work.
  3. With multiple marquees being built in a tight space, the team had to make sure that their measurements were precise, to the millimetre, before beginning the build.
  4. As the location was on the side of a hill, Green Field Marquees were fully prepared for the potential of bad weather. And, when this bad weather did eventually come, the only issue that occurred was that the team got a bit damp!
  5. The full Green Field Marquees Team began work onsite on Wednesday 7th August, building the two bigger marquees on this day, starting by building the marquee furthest from the back and working forward. These builds included the marquees being fully sealed, lined and carpeted, meaning the partnering suppliers could get in and work on infrastructure for power, florals and much more.
  6. The entire team returned to the build the following day (Thursday 8th) to build the 5m x 5m pagoda whilst refining and cleaning the two bigger marquees, trying to stay out of the way of the other suppliers.
  7. A smaller team visited the site on Friday the 9th of August to ensure any last details were complete and help the other suppliers where they could, having the marquees ready for the wedding on Saturday 10th.
  8. The team know that every single detail counts and, by following a step-by-step approach, the team were able to efficiently deliver an aesthetic final product that was delivered on time.
  9. With the groom’s father on-site across the three-day build, the team were constantly in contact with him to ensure any questions were answered. Jordana Events was also managing the wedding as a whole and the team were in touch with Jordana both before and throughout the build.
  10. After a beautiful and incredible wedding, a full team returned to Dalbeattie on Tuesday the 13th of August where they de-rigged all three tents in one day. By this point, the partnering suppliers had all been back to remove their kit and products, giving Green Field Marquees the space that they needed to complete this job tidily and efficiently.
